When Darkness Calls

When Darkness Calls is the name of my blog and is also the name of my first series of novels. The series currently includes ‘Sold Out Soul Doubt’ ‘Sold Out Too’ & ‘The Reticent Witch.’ My first book is primarily a romantic thriller with a dark theme and a little horror in one of the chapters. The other two titles are dark fiction/horror. Throughout my published books and future titles, it is my aim to look at what ‘The Darkness’ is, what is it that makes us do evil. I attempt to scratch the surface concerning our current thinking. Although my books do use some biblical content, this is not presented in a religious context. Instead, it seeks to redefine evil and the forces around us that we still do not understand and probably never will. My blog https://whendarknesscalls.blog explains some of my thinking, as well as detailing the series in more detail. There is also some historical fact, as all of my books use the basis of actual events in order to create a more plausible environment. The blog also gives access to free content, which includes short stories, extra chapters and even a section on practical jokes that I have carried out over the years. There is also an account of my own real-life ghost stories. These experiences have played a significant part in the creation of my first series.
